Without the revolutionary invention of the electric guitar, history would have taken a different course: the 1968ers had Jimy Hendrix, the hippies Janis Joplin and Woodstock, the squatters Ton Steine Scherben, the peace movement Bots & BAP, the women's movement Ina Deter, the punks Patti Smith. It is the soundtrack and its resonance in society that makes a movement successful. Today, the climate movement has no sound of its own and is in danger of losing ground; the earth is getting hotter and hotter. A catastrophe that Jürgen Becker analyzes perfectly with "Deine Disco".
