Moor & more - Event part 2

"50 years of mud and brine spas" - Bad Sassendorf has held the state-approved title since 1975, and a lot has happened since then. Peat as a natural remedy has faded a little into the background - peat packs and peat kneading are still offered in the Börde Therme.

We would like to show you what else is important in Bad Sassendorf as part of our prevention and rehabilitation concepts during our program on Sunday, 29 June in the Kurpark. You are welcome to take a look at offers such as "Qi Gong in the Kurpark" and "Exercise in the greenery". Some health facilities such as the Börde Therme and the clinics will also be open to present themselves and their services.

How has Bad Sassendorf developed over 50 years and how is the spa positioning itself for the future? - Mayor Malte Dahlhoff will also consider this in his speech to mark the anniversary, after which you can look forward to a musical journey back to 1975.

On Saturday, 28.06., the children's and youth festival of the district of Soest will take place in the spa park, and we invite you to the Woeste moor and nature reserve at the same time.In cooperation with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Biologischer Umweltschutz im Kreis Soest e.V. (ABU), we have put together an exciting program of lectures, guided tours and workshops to bring you closer to the moor in all its facets.

The special exhibition "50 years of the moor and brine spa Bad Sassendorf - from retrospect to outlook" is still running in the "Westfalen Salzwelten" adventure museum until 8 May. Read more...
