Homo Empathicus is a modern play by playwright Rebekka Kricheldorf. It is about the design of a utopian society that focuses on the increased ability to empathize.
In this society, every person is equal, recognized and valued in their uniqueness. Categories such as male and female no longer exist. "Man" is driven by empathy, driven by the desire to create a collective sense of well-being and a harmonious society. But suddenly two "savages" break into the structure, who turn out to be "real people" of the 21st century. With their selfish behavior, they seemingly endanger the idyll of the prevailing social, "empathic" system.
