Fatah (Fatsah Bouyahmed) is a happily married family man who lives in a small village in Algeria. The greatest wealth he possesses is his cow Jacqueline. He dreams of appearing with her at an agricultural fair in Paris to take part in a competition - and actually receives an invitation. So Fatah sets off on a journey from his home via Marseille to Paris, which of course is not without its stumbling blocks: In Marseille, Fatah meets his brother-in-law Hassan (Jamel Debbouze), who is not at all pleased about Fatah's surprise visit because he believes his secret of having a family with a French woman is in danger. He soon finds himself in trouble with his wife Naïma (Hajar Masdouki), who stayed at home, because kissing photos taken in a drunken stupor accidentally end up back home. Was the trip a mistake (France 2016, comedy, 91 minutes, FSK 0)?
