Recklinghausen is hosting the Westphalian Hanseatic Day for the first time, with a large city festival from 4 to 6 July 2025, Recklinghausen offers a varied program: medieval market, spectacular highline activities, a world record attempt, the fascinating Hanseatic market and rousing concerts. The motto of the Westfalen Hanseatic League, "Strength through community", is something Recklinghausen wants to bring to life. Interested parties can experience numerous free activities in a total of seven different places in the city as well as everywhere and in the middle of it all.
